This past week, Misadventures had the good fortune to catch one of the Reel Rock showings in Nashville, TN at the lovely Belcourt Theater.
We don’t want to give away too much about the films, but know that there’s a swoon-worthy amount of Tommy Caldwell, his baby Fitz (named after the iconic Patagonia peak), Alex Honnold at his comedic best, and high-res rock-shots to get even the most stoic stoked.
The highlights for us were the feature, A Line Across the Sky, that hilariously and heart-wrenchingly chronicles Caldwell and Honnolds incredible Fitz-traverse, and Showdown at Horseshoe Hell, a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the burning-man-orgy of climbing. Read more about those and the others here.
Our suggestion: watch the trailer, get excited, and find a showing near you. Of course, our only complaint: where are the women?
